TO THE FAMILY; MY HEART ACHES, I AM SADDENED YET I HAVE JOY... FOR I REALIZE THAT NONE OF US ARE HERE TO STAY FOREVER. LET US REMEMBER THE JONES FAMILY, AND LIFT THEM UP IN PRAYER. TO THE FAMILY: NOW UNTO HIM THAT IS ABLE, TO KEEP YOU FROM FALLING, AND TO PRESENT YOU FAULTLESS, BEFORE HIS PRESENCE WITH EXCEEDING JOY TO THE ONLY WISE GOD OUR SAVIOUR BE GLORY, MAJESTY, DOMINION AND POWER, NOW AND FOREVER, AMEN. MY PRAYER IS THAT YOU WILL FIND STRENGTH DURING THIS TIME TO CARRY ON, AND THAT YOU MIGHT REALIZE THAT THROUGH IT ALL... GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL. THE PSALMIST LETS US KNOW JUST HOW PRECIOUS THE DEATH OF ONE OF GOD'S SAINTS IS IN HIS SIGHT; Precious in the sight of THE LORD is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15 GOD BLESS YOU JONES FAMILY.

To Rev. Maurice Jones, Gwen, Kevin, and the Jones Family. My prayers are with you at this time. I was sorry to hear of the lost of your father and to Kevin your grandfather. I can remember him as a little girl at Trinity Baptist Church. Remember the wonder times that you had with him. He may not be with you physically but he will always be in your heart. God bless you all.

The first time I heard Pastor Jones preached I was captivated, moved and inspired. His down home message started soft and simple and built into a fire that was consuming and warm. It stirred the spirit within me and spoke to me and many ways. It was always a joy to be at worship or fellowship with him. His greeting, his powerful handshake, always made me feel so welcomed. There was a warmth, a joy and genuineness about his that this world so needs. Our community will miss him. I can only begin to imagine how much your family will miss him. May the joy of Easter remind you of the joy that is his to enjoy. On behalf of all of us at First Congregational Church UCC in South Haven, may God's blessings of peace and comfort surround you. To the entire Jones family also to The Church of New Jeruselum my Christian Family. I am sending my deepest sympathies and love to the family of a man I watched through the years preach and live the word of God. He left us all with his burning desire to love and to please God. This servant of God will be missed by all who knew him and worshiped with him. May God continue to lead us. May God continue to Bless of all.

Maurice, Corneiliou, Mikie and Mrs. Jones - I am so sorry to hear of your loss. As a kid, Mr. Jones always had a smile and a good word to say to me, whenever I came over to visit or to play hoops. Covert has lost one of its great citizens. Mr. Jones' presence will truly be missed. Steven M. Jeffries Lifelong, Family Friend
