Eleanor's Obituary

Eleanor Warskow, 86, of South Haven died Monday, November 24 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

She was born March 8, 1922 in Oak Park, Illinois to Agnes (Meyer) and Paul Geiger. Eleanor married Louis Warskow on February 28, 1942. Eleanor worked as a bookkeeper for Sherman Dairy for over 40 years. Throughout her long career she also worked for Citizens Bank and Overtons. She was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed knitting and taught 4-H. Eleanor loved her flower gardens.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Louis Warskow who died in 1970. Brothers –Al and Paul Geiger. Sister – Frances Andrews. One sister-in-law – Carolyn Patzer.

She is survived by one son – Paul Warskow of South Haven, Michigan. Three grandchildren – Kristen Warskow, Beth Lewis and Mickey Finley. Two great grandchildren. Two sisters – Louise Cramer of Alsip, Illinois and Gertrude Wauchek of Grand Junction, Michigan. Sister-in-law - Irma Overhiser of South Haven. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be Friday, December 5 at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Linstrom officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, South Haven.
