Dear family of Eleanor: I used to work at Sherman Dairy, too, and after I quit, I would stop in and chat whenever I was in South Haven. Eleanor was such a nice lady. I know the people at the Dairy really appreciated her hard work. My prayers are with you. Vivian Lyman Henriksen

To the Warskow family, We are in Boston visiting our oldest son for Thanksgiving and just read about Eleanor's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Eleanor was always family with the "Sherman's". Visiting and working at the Dairy during my youth brings many wonderful memories of Eleanor. She was a delightful, steady presence up in the office. She was always happy when I saw her and interested in my life and family in my adulthood. May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead. May your memories bring joy as they will to me. Sincerely, Diane Skuza

Dear Paul and family, We just wanted you to know how much your mom meant to all of us and what a wonderful friend she was to our family. Port and Char not only depended so much on her, but valued her friendship beyond description. We will all certainly miss her, especially that great laugh of hers. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Ann and Scott Raue

Paul: Your mom meant so much to our family, she will surely be missed. She was part of our family, at so many of our family events and we enjoyed every minute with her. I was so envious of her knitting machine and all the gifts she gave us using the machine. She told me she would teach me to use the machine, how I wish I wouldn't have put that time with her learning how to use it on the back burner. I will always regret that. She will be missed and thought of often.

Dear Warskow family: I was so saddened to hear the unfortunate news about Eleanor. I spoke with her on the phone at Sherman's for 8 years. We own an ice cream shop in New Buffalo, Mich. and she took my ice cream orders every week. I had the pleasure of meeting her in person a couple of years ago and I am so glad I did. What a kind and sweet dear lady she was. Always talked "with a smile" in her voice. She will be missed by all of us. Carey Vink

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. What a gracious and kind lady she was. I will miss her beautiful face at my spaghetti suppers. Love to all of the family.

Paul, my prayers are with you. I am so sorry to see that your Mother passed away. I had the priveledge of spending some time with her a couple of years ago up here in Holland when she bought her sewing machine from Lakeshore sewing. She was a lovely woman and I know she impressed her beautiful spirit on many people that she had come across. I was one. My prayers are with you.
