My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this time of loss.I admired Uncle David in many ways,His gentle, softspoken, tender ways he always reflected. His smile from ear to ear and the constant twinkle in his eye will always hold a special place in my heart.His easygoing approch to life has touched many lives.I have never heard an ill word spoken of him and was always proud to know that I was related to him. David & Thomas; There never are the right words to say in a trying time like this. I can say I have walked in your shoes losing my stepmom that was my true mom to me, so I do know the pain you are feeling. We are lifting you up in our prayers for your daily strength!

I worked for the city when Dave worked at the electric department. He was a good friend to me and my brother dennis. He will be missed.

dad was a awsome man with a good spirit i will never forget the deer seasons we shared together it will be had to hunt now cause knowone had a bigger smile than dad when i came home and said dad i got one that made his day but dad loved everone i will always have dad with me he will keep my spirits high

IM SO SORRY FOR THE LLOYD FAMILY, IVE BEEN DAVES WAITRESS SINCE I WAS 16 , HE WAS WORKING FOR THE CITY THEN, BIG DAVE TAUGHT ME HOW TO "BARK",..THANX DAVE, BEEN KICKED OUT OF EVERY BAR AROUND! HE TOOK MY SON HUNTING ONCE, YOU WERE ALWAYS WELCOMED AT "BIG DAVES " HOUSE, NEVER SAID A BAD WORD ABOUT ANYONE, HE WAS MY FRIEND, AND LIKE A BIG BROTHER, BIG MAN, BIGGER HEART!YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED, REST IN PEACE DAVE, YOUR NOT ALONE ANYMORE! I am so sorry for your loss, Speed (David) was such a sweet man. I have so many fond memories of him from my yrs growing up in South Haven and he being friends w/my family and the Mulac family. He will be greatly missed. God Bless your family and may you have comfort in the days to come

I've known Dave my entire life & truly enjoyed every time he was around me, whether it was fishing or hunting.......or even having a beer! He was a great father, uncle, grandfather.......a truly great man.
