Anita Rayburn Vigansky

Anita Lynn Rayburn Vigansky, 44, of South Haven died Monday, February 18 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

She was born August 1, 1963 in South Haven, Michigan to L.V. and Marilyn (Packard) Rayburn. Anita worked for D & L Sales in downtown South Haven for the past 10 years. Prior to D & L, Anita worked as a waitress at several local restaurants. Anita enjoyed playing pool, flower gardening and mowing the lawn, bowling.

She is preceded in death by her father – L.V. Rayburn who died in 2007.

She is survived by Three children – Kayla Doffing of Holland, Michigan, Troy Doffing of South Haven, Michigan and Jeremiah Vigansky of South Haven, Michigan. Two step-children - John Vigansky of South Haven, Michigan and Billi Jo Vigansky of Chicago, Illinois. Her mother – Marilyn Rayburn of South Haven, Michigan. One brother – Brian (Judy) Rayburn of Slidell, Louisiana and one sister – Laura (Tom) Rusin of South Haven, Michigan. Two step-grandchildren – Shawn and Jace Vigansky. Former spouse – Butch Vigansky of Keeler, Michigan. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Anita was like a second mom to many and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Friday, February 22, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in South Haven. Funeral services will begin Friday at 6:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Jerry Koller officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to a trust fund at the South Haven Banking Center, 1121 LaGrange, South Haven, MI 49090.
