I am so saddend by Anita's death.. She has been such a good friend all these years.. We were in the same graduateing class of 1981 ..I will so miss seeing her smilin face and our long chatts about our kids .. jobs.. and just about life.. I already miss her dearly.. There are not any words that I can think of that truly express my sorrow in your loss of Anita. We know that only God has a plan when he takes loved ones from us - we do not understand why at times but we know that it is for the best. Kevin and I have the whole family in our thoughts and prayers and are there if you need anything. Anita and I always had good conversations about kids,ex-husbands, and family whenever we saw each other in the last few years!! I will remember those!

We have not known Anita a long time (only from D & L) but the last month since she was seeing our son Kirk, we have been so happy for them both. She had a smile that was contagious and our family all got to know her and loved her. She made Kirk very happy and I know he is hurting now as you all are.

When I first read about it, the first thing that came to mind was of her story about how I was baby sat as child. She was such a joy to be near. The very first time I went to Rayburn's house Laura'a little sister Anita went to the creek by the road and got clay and smeared it in my face as we sat in L.V.'s beautiful yard. I am so very sorry! I know all to well that really doesn't help. I went to school with Anita and was a neigbor for years on 64th street (Liz Caldwell/Moore). The kids use to play with our kids! Tony,Shawn and Katelyn. I live in Paw Paw now and was looking at the paper. I just couldn't believe it. I just lost my Father in Law and will not be able to be there this evening but want you to know that your Family is in my prayers. If there is anything at all I can do to help you in anyway.
