I was deeply saddened to learn of Willie's death, but so elated to know that he's gone to a far better place, with no more pain and disability. May God send His solace to you who are left behind, and the peace of having known this wonderful man.

To All of You, I send you lots of love and hugs during this time. Uncle Bill was a wonderful father and a great uncle. Many cherished memories with him will be kept close to my heart. The tractor rides, the garden and how he made me laugh so. I love all of you guys very very much. Love, Cousin - Sandi

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I'm sorry that I couldn't see each and every one of you today, to give you a hug, and tell you just how incredibly blessed he was to have such a wonderful family. Please know that he spoke daily of his family with such pride and adoration! It was 2 1/2 years ago that I met Mr. Barnes, as a brand new Patient Care Technician. He endured my early "rookie status" with patience back then and I took it as a great compliment that he voiced his displeasure with my decision to take the Secretarial position! Still, we found time to chat about our families, good western movies, and those dinners waiting for him when he got home. Again I say, he was a blessed man. Peace be with you, Dee Dee Yunke, Patient Care Technician & Facility Secretary @ FMC-South Haven Dialysis

To Ceci and family, my deepest sympathy for the loss of a high spirited and kind man..Willie Barnes. I will always remember his beautiful smile and his positive saying when asked how he was doing "I'm in good shape for the shape I'm in". May the Barnes family find comfort in God's loving invitation to "throw all your anxiety upon him because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5;7) and that he is "near to those that are broken at heart and those who are crushed in spirit he saves."--Psalm 34;18. It is God's desire and promise that you see Bill again in the very near future, right here on earth under peaceful conditions where death will be no more. Please rest your hope in and draw strength from God's promises at John 5;28,29; Psalm 37;29; Rev. 21;3,4 and Psalm 83;18. With Deepest Sympathies,
Valerie Thompson

Dearest Family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Barnes. I am ashamed that I didn't know sooner. I can only remember the times of celebration we all spent together and how kind he was to my family and I. "Papa Barnes" treated us with such love and compassion and made us feel welcomed and wanted. I WILL MISS HIM DEARLY. He is free of pain finally. Mr Barnes was truly one in a million, none in a hundred! I love you all, you are like family. Peace n' Wholeness to you all, Teresa
