Don was of a dearest friend to our family and shall always be remembered as so in our hearts. From my very first horse-ride as a young child, passing him on his new fangled bi-cycle,Township advice,a visit to admire my new peach orchard while sharing his respect for bringing historical fruit back to Casco and to his ultimate trust with his auto and tractor repair needs I have grown up with admiration for his character and free-will giving of his wisdom. May your faith be kept close during this sorrowful time and let us all overcome our sadness so that we may not feel so much the loss, but cherish the wonderful memories.In Gods faith, Allan & Dawn Ridley.

Dearest Family,
We address you as family for our relationship with Don goes back as far as time and freindships as deep with many conversations including his love for his family. Tammy, Cindy, you and yours were always upon his mind.Our dearest freind will not be missed but rather a memory cherished within our hearts forever, alive and well. A valuable asset within our community, A dear freind to all within our very being.Part farmer, part spokesman, part rebel within, we will never find a dearer freind. Tammy, Cindy and Family, I am so deeply saddened by the loss of your father. I wish that I could be there to wrap my arms around all of you during this time. Your family has been VERY special to me for many years, give your mom a hug for me as I know this is a difficut time for her also. I will remember your dads smile and kind heart forever. To the Mazwell Family. I was very sorry to hear about Don. My sympathy and prayers are with you. What a wonderful person he was. He served his community and the citizens he represented very well as an elected official and was well respected by all. I know how much he enjoyes his family, grandchildren, and in the last several years his horses and cycle. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. And always wanted to make his community better. He will be missed by everyone in local goverment, as well as all of us his friends who enjoyed working with him so much. Patty

We at the Township will miss Don, he came to our Township Hall almost every Tue. He had his own set up (office). He would get a roll at 9:00 a.m. but by 11:00 a.m. he still had only been able to take a bite or two out of it. He would help any of us with any thing he could from our miss behaving computors to a address for someone. He always had his Cowboy boots and his Cowboy hat. He told us of many enjoyable storys of his family trips!!!! We will miss him. Bless the Family.
