Robert's Obituary
Robert G. Scott, 82, of South Haven died on November 28 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. Bob was born on September 6, 1930 to William and Flora (Lee) Scott in Lepanto, Arkansas. Bob worked for Everett Piano Company for many years. He served his country in the US Army. Bob was a member of St. Basil Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Moose Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Donald, James and William Scott and his son-in-law, Dennis Hammond.
Bob is survived by his wife – Violet Scott of South Haven, MI, his children – Robert (Teri) Scott of South Haven, MI, Barbara (Dan) Olsen of Grand Junction, MI and Debbie Hammond of Lawton, MI, and 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His brother – John Scott of Tennessee and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 3 from 6-8 pm at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be on Tuesday, December 4 at 11:00 am at St. Basil Catholic Church with Rev. Father Robert Flickinger officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Michigan Heart Association or St. Basil Catholic Church.
