Uncle Bob was a good man. A U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, remember his story of running communication lines from the commanders through live-fire to the battles. As a kid, I rode my first pony at his home during a birthday celebration, enjoyed my first Easter Egg hunt at his home, and played my first poker hand with him and learned to bluff. Uncle Bob was also my confirmation sponsor at Saint Basil Catholic Church. Bob had a hard shell but a kind and generous heart for church and family. My prayers are for him and his wonderful family.
