I don't even know where to begin. Jodi was like a mother to me, even after Curtis and I split up she was always kind to me. She was the best Nana a kid could ever ask for. All of her grandkids loved spending time with her and their Papa. She would come to Lakyius's baseball games and buy candy for all the kids, including my other two. Jodi was a hardworker and I remember many times sitting for hours with her while she rambled on about what was going on at work and with her co-workers. To me she coined the term "thunderchicken". I'd never heard anyone refer to a thunderbird as that until Curtis bought his :) She used to make the best macaroni salad i've ever had and every time she'd cut a green pepper she'd always give me a chunk of it before cutting it up for the salad. Must be why i craved green peppers while i was pregnant with Lakyius :) I am going to miss running into her at walmart and having our occasional catch-ups and I know her grandbabies are going to miss her even more!

I worked with Kathy at Pullman Industries. She was an awesome lady, always willing to help and a hard worker. I ran into her a few times in Walmart and caught up on how life was going. Really enjoyed talking with her. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I grew up with Jody and Frank. I remember them sitting on the bus holding hands as young people in love. It was wonderful to see their love stand the hands of time. I just ran into Jody last week at Hardings in Bangor. Life sometimes is not fair, but I know that she is in heaven and visiting with her daddy and brother Charlie. I pray for God to wrap his loving arms around all of you and comfort you in the days ahead. May your memories and the love she shared with all of you help give you peace in the days and months ahead.

I never thought of Jody as my sister-in-law, she is my sister-in-life. She was the purest soul I have ever met. When I had my youngest son, David, she gave him the nickname David-doo. He will be 34 years old in a couple of weeks and she has never called him David, nope-it's David-doo. Always made him smile. When Frank was stationed in Mass. she was with him. She told me at the end of the month when money was tight she would make Kathyjo mayo and jelly sandwiches. She would fix these for Kathyjo and my oldest son, Steven, these when they were toddlers. To this day my sons still will eat mayo and jelly sandwiches.
She has left her footprints on our hearts and we will never forget the person she was. We all love you Jody and will miss you beyond words.
Love you Sis

Your family will be in my thoughts & prayers for comfort in the difficult days ahead. Jody (or as I knew her, Kathy) was such a nice person - always smiling & a pleasure to work with. Didn't see her too much after the mushroom farm closed but when I would run into her at the store she would always stop & talk & always had a smile! Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you Emma. Kathy Jo that was a very moving tribute to your mom. You are so brave. Kathy will be greatly missed by so many people.
