I don't know how to express my sorrow and joy at Dorothy's passing from this life. I, as will so many others, will miss her warmth, wit, compassion, love. My prayers for the family.

Don and family, I am so sorry to hear about Dorothy's passing. We grew up across the street from one another and have remained friends all these years and will sure miss seeing her at the "49"ers class reunion. Irene was a wonderful neighbor.
Love to the family, Marilyn

Jackson Family,
So very sorry to hear of Mrs. Jackson's passing. I was privileged to have her for my kindergarten teacher. I will never forget how she made me feel, with her warm smile and the way she made everyone feel special and important. God Bless you Mrs. Jackson.

My heartfelt condolences to Ms. Dorothy's family and loved ones. I had the pleasure to meet her once, through her amazing family, and know that she meant so much to her nearest and dearest. I hope that those who knew her best have many fond and loving memories to last a lifetime. May her family and friends be comforted with peace, love and strength during this difficult time.

Dear Jackson Family,
Your loss is as great as the blessing that you were gifted with for so many years. I knew Dorothy first as a patient, then as friend, and often as a willing listening ear. She is an amazing women on so many levels and served as an inspiration by more than her words but more importantly by the life that she lived and the values that she modeled for those who took the time to observe.
I am sure that each of you in Dorothy's family are aware of how special of a women she is. But, please take a little comfort in the fact that others also appreciated her worth; and envied your family for having her .
God Bless you and heal your sorrows with the joy that she would have you to carry forward.

My mom Mary Jean Tait always spoke highly of Dorothy. I believe they taught together and wrote together at the Scott Club. You will cherish those stories even more now.

To all members of the Jackson family my deepest sympathy goes out to you. Love the memory of staying with aunt Dorothy, uncle Don Susie and Jenny years ago for a week in the summer. Aunt Dorothy made me feel right at home and made her famous fruit salad for me with her cute family tradition to kiss the cook if you found a seed. She took me and the girls to see the movie Annie. She made it fun and loved her family. As a child I loved to go to Grandma Rene's to hear about Aunt Dorothy's adventurous vacations and all their great laughs along the way. So, I guess the message I want to say is I'm thankful for her memories. Even though our lives got busy I will hold her memories close at heart. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jackson family: I worked with Dorothy Jackson in physical therapy more than 7 years ago. Even up to the end, I was always impressed by her positive attitude, and her sensitivity to people even with her blindness. She always knew if it was me walking by, and she would greet me. It amazed how so many I people that I knew who were clueless about things and they had all 5 senses! But Dorothy, she was a sweetheart and knew much more about what was going on around her than most of the people who had their sight. I will miss Dorothy, but she has made a lasting impression on me, and I will always remember her and admire her.
