Gary, Janice, Todd, Scot, Joyce, and Jileen...so sorry for your news. After reading your mom's biography now it's finally known where all of your IMMENSE talent comes from. Our mothers are our conscience and we "hear" their voice always. They are one person in our lives who are with us always.

We loved brothers and were friends, then sisters-in-law for almost 70 years. I'll miss her darling laugh. She always had so much faith and we must have that faith also. She did a great job of raising 7 wonderful kids. God bless all of you and may He give us comfort. Hugs, Anita

I heard alot about her from Dale. She is so great that every child wish to have a mother like her. Dale loves her so much, I did too. True that I have never met her, but I loved her and was looking forward to meet her for a long time. One thing that I am glad to do, is to talk to her by phone while ago and still remember that lovely voice. She did a great job in raising her kids. Miss her.

Dear Joyce & Jileen: I'm sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I haven't seen her in many years but I'll always remember her being such a sweet, sweet lady and she raised very lovely children. Even knowing God's promise to us that she is spending eternity in Heaven, I know you will still have tough days ahead. I pray you will find PEACE & JOY in your memories of your mom. I still have tough days, I still cry but I can quickly turn my sadness to happiness when I picture my parents living right along side our Lord & Savior. My step mom gave me a plaque when my dad passed away that reads "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" - Dr. Suess. I try to pass those words on when I get a chance b/c it made me realize how blessed I was to have such a great dad (and mom). You too were blessed with a great mom. God Bless you both!

"Aunt Gerrye" was my godmother and I couldn't have asked for a better woman to fill that roll. Even though I am in my 50's, she still was fulfilling her vows as a godmother taking a life-long interest in her godchild. She was loved and will truly be missed.

Todd & Kim, Scot & Karen, Joyce, Heather & McKenna and all of the Leist Family - Please know how sincerely sorry we were to hear of your mother's passing. Although I didn't know her personally, I feel honored to have met her a few years back at the first Reunion of the Bands. It's obvious how loving and generous of a mother she was by knowing her family. You were very blessed to have her for so long - 91 years. Please know our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I had hoped to come to visitation with Mike but due to circumstances beyond my control, he will be there representing both of us. Much love to all of you.
