Fred,
We were so very sorry to learn about Ella's death. You two had such a wonderful life together--the places you went, the things you did , and the care you gave her toward the end. We wish you some peace and respite.

Dear Fred,
My first memories of Ella were of Ella as the perpetual student. It seemed that she went from degree to degree in an effort to catch up with the rest of the family -- something she managed to do. I also remember Ella's laughter, especially at the silly things that happened at family reunions. Even though the laughter was somewhat diminished by her stroke we will all miss it.
She has now come to a better place, suffering ended, pain extinguished, now under the wings of God's angels.
May you find peace in your memories of her and find the way to recover from the stress of those final years.

Dear Fred, Liz, Andrew and all your family,
I send my condolences on your loss of Ella. I knew her only after her stroke and yet felt I knew her so well, her bright spirit, her inner radiance, her appreciation of friends, of family, of grandchildren! I will miss her, and I send you my warm sympathy,
