Helen Donna Brush

Helen Donna Brush, 80, of South Haven, Michigan, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the South Haven Hospital. She was born September 26, 1933 to Maurice and Dorothy (Beaty) Burrows. Helen married her husband, William Brush June 27, 1952, the same year she graduated from South Haven High School. She worked at the Michigan Fruit Canners factory, Prince, part of the Fennville Library Board and was also a Four H leader. She and William owned a home on Hutchins Lake for many years. Helen loved being with children and enjoyed working on crafts.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by her children - Cathy Meyers of Holland, MI, Donna Beaucamp of South Haven, Mark (Ann) Brush of Hamilton, Karen (Randy) Morey of South Haven, MI. Eleven grandchildren and Nine great-grandchildren, her siblings Deloris Farr of Rockford, MI, and Jean Novotny of South Haven, MI.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 23, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the First Congregational Church of South Haven. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 P.M. officiated by Rev. Jeffrey S. Dick. Helen will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, William, at the McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township. Memorial donations may be made in Helen's name to the American Cancer Society and South Haven Hospice.
