I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family. A wonderful promise is found in Revelation 21:4 which says, "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Just imagine what joy we will feel when we greet our loved ones again.

I will always rembember the good times playing at the various nightclubs...the Moose, the Derby, the Triangle, etc. We were the only 2 left until this week. Yes those were the good times. So sorry to see it come to an end. All that is left now is the memories.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Herb at our house, his house, & Grandma's Farm. And all I say is what he said when my Dad passed, "Damn" (and that pretty much sums it up)
I know he will be missed & leaves a legacy for his family & friends.
My condolences to my Aunt Jean, & cousins Jackie & Mike.
May God be with you,
Bill Keselowski

I fondly remember Herb from participating in the Casco Band with him several years ago when I lived up in Casco. He was a good fella and a nice person to know. He sure could play that trumpet! His accomplishments and expertises in the music field were very much appreciated. He will be remembered fondly, and with warm thoughts. Condolonces go out to his wife and family during this difficult time of mourning. Some day we will all meet up again, with our heavenly Father in heaven. Herb might even be there to greet us with a trumpet welcome solo. Warm Wishes, Susan Hood Hoffman. Sorry to hear of his passing.

An extremely proud moment in my life happened following the 2007 Casco Memorial Day service--I met and talked personally with Herb Mortoff, a real gentleman. My parents always spoke so highly of Mr. Mortoff. Whoever shall play TAPS?
