Art "Pa" Bowie a generous friend and loving father. He was always kind and lived a Christian life of giving to others. But mostly, I think Art just loved his family. He loved being with his children and their families. He loved a good joke and to laugh. I know how lucky I am to have spent so much time with the Bowie family over the years and to be counted among their friends. God bless you all. I am sure that he and "Ma" are having a joyous reunion.

Our beloved "Pa" Bowie - just looking at his handsome face fills me with love, respect, and a sincere gratitude that I was lucky enough to have his presence in my life. He was a gentle, wonderful man, a devoted and attentive husband, a proud and protective father, and a generous friend who showed kindness to countless people throughout his life. Always quick with a smile, a hug, a joke, an inquiry - he cared about everyone, and was loved fiercely in return. He will be cherished and missed forever.

The picture you posted is exactly as I remembered him............he always had a smile and kind words. I first met Art when I was in RCIA at St Basil's. Ena used to be my reading tutor at Hartman school back in the 70's. It was sad seeing him alone after Ena passed on as I always seen them together. In peace, Jeff

To the entire Bowie family, Art will be missed. He always took the time to chat when I saw him, and that goes back 40+ years. Back in the old neighborhood, "Mr. Bowie" was always friendly, with a smile on his face. May God bless the wonderful memories.
