I will always cherish our last visit just a few weeks ago. Even with all that Chuck had been through he still had his positive outlook on life. We worked together for many years at Bursma Radio. At our management meetings Chuck would come up with fresh common sense ideas. He was never concerned how much work it was for himself. At dealer meetings he would dress up and create some of the most hilarious ways of promoting a program and get many laughs while driving home the message. Mostly I will remember Chuck for his Christian concern for others and how he worked tirelessly to improve so many lives. Chuck definitely lived a PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE. Jim and Cindy Bursma

Marc and I wish that we could be there in person to hug you all and offer our condolences especially to Jeddy who has lost the love of her life, and Debbie, Mitch and Cyndee who have lost their wonderful father. Chuck has been a presence in our lives for over 40 years. He was always so kind, friendly and loving AND a very patient tennis partner. Keep all of your wonderful memories of him close to sustain you in the days ahead. He will always be with you.

I will certainly miss Chuck. He was very important to the Restorative Justice movement in Van Buren County. It was easy to forget his age, when he was energized about his causes. A great guy with a heart of gold. Jeddy and family our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I'm hoping that Chuck's family will see this. My condolences to all of you from California. I only recently heard about Chuck's passing. Chuck helped me greatly years ago while he was at Bursma Radio and I was starting out in the television repair business. I only wish I could thank him again for his helping this young kid. God Bless.
