Russell's Obituary
Russell Allen Tripp, 64, of South Haven, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He was born December 19, 1951 to Leon and Charlotte Tripp in South Haven. Russell was a business agent for Operating Engineers Local 324. He was a member of the Star of the Lake Masonic Lodge, Loyal Order of the Moose, and an avid board member of the Van Buren County Fair Board.
He is survived by his daughter – Casey (Michael) Bozung of Bangor, sister – Judy Rathburn of South Haven, and grandson – Miles Bozung of Bangor.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Memorial services will follow visitation at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Operating Engineers Local 324 Training and Education Center, 273 E. Highland Road, Howell, Michigan 48843.
