To Nickie and the entire Bierhalter Family,

Not much I can say other than you are all in my prayers. You lost a son, a brother, a dad and I hope & pray the good memories can sustain you during this difficult time.

I lost a friend whom I will never forget. Philip and I have not run into each other in many years but oh boy, back in the day we had quite the time. I will always remember the times I spent at the Bierhalter house and how well Viv and Tip treated me. Coming out to your house was like an escape of sorts from "City Life" in South Haven. The woods, the dunes, motorcycles, Maple Grove School and of course a few other neighborhood kids to hang out with. I have wonderful memories of those times.......

I mourn with you but I also believe there is a special place in heaven for Philip and for that I am thankful. Rest in peace my friend.
