I met Art when he joined the South Haven Area Men’s Chorus. A finer, more gracious man would be hard to find. I enjoyed his humor, his optimism and his company at many lunch get-togethers after singing practice sessions. He will forever serve as a role model for young men. Rest In Peace, Artie!

I meet Mr. Art Jackson at Van Buren United Civic Organization. He always had a smile and kind words for me. He became a second father to me when my father passed. It was a honor to welcome him back when he went on the Honors Flight to Washington D.C. May God give you comfort and peace.

Mr Jackson had known me for a long time. I will remember him for his kind words of wisdom that he always gave through out my life. He was there when I came home from Marine Corp boot camp and he was there when I came home from overseas. He was truly a man that I looked up to. Heaven has gained another Angel. To protect those pearly gates see you soon God speed brother

Arthur and i became very close through our association in SHAMC. I loved him as my brother. I was his Junior by 2 and a half years. We shared stories that only nonagenarian brothers can share. He was also Mr. Positivity. Friendship with him blessed me. I would have possibly been with him in Korea, but instead languished in a sanatorium while the war was raging. I am sure he was a superb soldier. He loved life, a true gentle man. I hope he keeps a chair beside him in the choir. I'll be there shortly.

I had the privilege and honor of having known both Art and Pat when I worked with Pat at the South Haven rehab dept. They are two of the finest people I have ever known, and I consider myself having been blessed with their genuine hugs, kindness, and beautiful smiles. I also witnessed their grace when they lost family, then how they forged on to be of service to others--always. Family must be extremely proud of both, and my heart-felt condolences to them at this time.

Art Jackson and I had many conversations over the years about his connection to my alma maters Corpus Christi and Hales Fransican High Schools located on Chicago's South side. He was truly a devout Catholic and a dedicated family man. May he rest in peace!! Dominus Vobiscum, Tyrone A.Downtown Brown M.A.

Art was a very funny man we had fun talking to each other about everything; he gave me advise. When I first moved to Covert, he & Pat came & welcomed me to the neighborhood. I loved talking to him. May GOD bless the family in your loss.
