Annazette's Obituary

Annazette Taylor, 61, of Lithonia, GA, passed away on Sunday January 26, 2025.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday February 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM the location will be Starks and Menchinger Chapel 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph MI 49805. Friends may visit with the family on Friday February 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The burial will follow at Crystal Springs Cemetery. Annazette was born on October 3, 1963, to Joe and Mae (Love) Taylor in Benton Harbor MI. She graduated in 1981 from Benton Harbor High School, then continued her education at Ferris State University. She was a licensed realtor and worked as an Administrative Assistant for Champion Theme Middle School in DeKalb County School System. Annazette had a passion for writing and reading poetry. She authored three poetry books, Poetic Journey, Journey of Thoughts, Journey Within; and was co-author of the book The Angels Told Me. In February of 2024 she excitedly started her YouTube Channel (The Mighty Storm of Poems).

Annazette is survived by her mother Mae Taylor, siblings Patricia Taylor, Joseph (Cindy) Taylor, Jermaine (Tenara) Taylor, Joe Nathan Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Dorothea Hudson and Amber Taylor. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She had three fur-babies, Patches, Sassy and Big Boy.

Her friend and earthly angel, Angelet Manard, who was such a blessing to Annazette and the Taylor family during her illness. We love you and thank you for all you have done and continue to do. Special childhood friends, Shay Brown and Regina Carver.

Annazette was preceded in death by her father, Joe M. Taylor, siblings James H. Taylor, Jeffery L. Taylor, Margrette A. Taylor, and Machelle D. Taylor.
