Barbara 's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Barbara here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
I’d like to share the message we sent to Jean shortly after she left her winter home in FL to seek medical treatment at her home in MI. The entire condo association is going to miss her presence. A life well lived by a woman well loved. Godspeed, Jean. Keep the cards ready for when we meet again ❤️
Hey Jeanie Beanie-
We can never be certain what life has in store for any of us or when our glorious trip here on earth will end, however when one of our beloved friends faces a catastrophic illness, we begin to take stock of that friendship and count the many ways that person has touched our lives. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to tell you how much your friendship means to us.
You have brought life, laughter, fun and adventure to our days on Mainsail Drive in Fairways I and we will be eternally grateful to you for doing so. We could always count on the Engineer of the Fun Train to round up the group for an evening of dining, a movie, a game of Dominos, a trip to Bargain Basket or Sweet Annie’s, a round of King’s Corners or some cultural event specific to the area surrounding Marco Island and Everglade City. Without your spirit of community, we would not have met as many people in our neighborhood or become as involved in the activities offered here as we have been. You have been the glue that has cemented friendships and the start-button for many adventures. You have been a community-wide role model for how to age well. Many people have said, “I hope I am as vibrant as Jean is when I reach her age!” You are much loved, much admired and your presence is much missed.
Our wish for you is that your days are filled with family and friends. We are hoping for a speedy, painless resolution to your current health issues, and we pray for your physicians to have the wisdom, knowledge and skills necessary to provide you with the best possible care. Above all, we are confident that your unrelenting faith in Christ will guide you through your days ahead and bring you peace.
We love you and look forward to seeing you again-
Carolyn & Mary

Mrs. Schultz was such a wonderful lady, there are not enough words to describe her. I met her as a student at Country Lane and she has been a part of my life since. Helping her on the farm before or after school, singing American Pie to the animals, bumping into her at the store and having her attend milestone moments in my life. She will be greatly missed.

What wonderful memories my daughter had of Mrs. Schultz when she attended Country Lane. Mrs. Schultz always had fun and exciting things for the kids to do. From Halloween Costume Party's to going to the Potawatomi Zoo and having a picnic at the end of the year. Thank you for taking such good care of our little ones.
