Carol's Obituary

Carol J. Clark, 90, of St. Joseph, went to meet her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday, May 11, 2025 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Dan Colthorp & Rev. Robert Confer officiating. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Carol’s name may be made to Turning Point Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Center in Canton GA. or Berrien County Animal Control. Carol was born December 24, 1934 in Detroit to William & Marjorie Stuliff. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Music and a Masters Degree in Guidance & Counseling. While attending college, she joined the music sorority, Mu Phi Epsilon. On August 14, 1954 she married Archie “Art” Clark in Detroit. Carol worked for a number of years as a guidance counselor at River Valley High School in Marion, Ohio. After moving to St. Joseph in 1974, Carol worked as a realtor for Century Twenty-One in St. Joseph, retiring after twenty years. Carol and Art were members of Berrien Hills Country Club where they played in the couple’s golf league. She was a member of the Symphony League, and a long-time member of Monday Musical and of the First Church of God in St. Joseph where she was a choir member. Carol most recently was a member of Pathway Methodist Church in St. Joseph.

Carol is survived by her children-Jim (Deb) Clark of Berrien Springs, Cheryl Moore of Grand Rapids, MI, Lois (Tom) Rusco of Canton, GA; five grandchildren-Ryan (Savanna) Clark, Brandon (Becky) Clark, Jaenell (Kristian) Woods, Kelsey & Kara Reinhardt; four great-grandchildren-Chloe, Ethan, Emmett & Ashlynn; and her feline companion Max. She was preceded in death by her husband Art on August 25, 2016.
