We first met Carol and Art when they were moving their family to Marion, OH with Whirlpool. Joe and I showed them areas for school and housing. We enjoyed their friendship through the years as we were both transferred back to Saint Joseph with Whirlpool. Through the years, their children babysat for our three, we attended their kids weddings and other celebrations which were so much fun! Even though my husband took another job in Kalamazoo, where we resided for 45 years; we still kept in contact with dinner, weddings of our kids, celebration of birthday and staying connected. Due to health reason, in 2023 we moved to Dublin., OH to be closer to our Son Michael. Carol always sent us cards for every holiday and we so enjoyed hearing from her. But as I told Jim , when he called us to give the news that Carol had died, I told him that we had been concerned as we did not get an Easter card from her and was going to call her - and now I know the reason. Will miss my friend! ❤️❤️ Prayers and our condolence's to the Jim, Cheryl and Lois and all the family, grandchildren and greatgrandchilren

I only came to know Carol after she joined Pathway Global Methodist Church in Saint Joseph. She always sat near the front enjoyed the music had a smile whenever she would be greeted and helped out with collecting attendance sheets after the service was over. She was a lovely lady and I was privileged to be able to know her a little bit. May you find strength and comfort in knowing she is in paradise now with the Lord.

Wonderful Memories of Carol and Art in Mexico - we always laughed at the great story of Carol and the Donkey! She always had a smile to share and indeed there always was a "song in her heart"! May Love surround her family always with her very special ways.

I knew Carol first as a fellow Realtor. We worked together and became friends. After she retired, Carol and Art asked me to help them sell their home in the ponds. What a compliment. She was caring and kind and a great lady, and I loved her smile. In more recent years she stayed in touch trying her best to send business my way. I was so appreciative of her trust in me. Of Course we attended First Church of God together for many years. Although we were never really close, we considered each other friends, and I am sure she will be missed by many.

It's so hard to sum up what Carol meant to me. In high school she was my best friend's mother who always made me feel at home. She was generous with her time and supportive of my endeavors. When I met my husband, I brought him to meet Art and Carol. When we began our family, we introduced Art and Carol to our newborns. When our family became increasingly busy I exchanged Christmas cards with Carol and never lost touch. When my children were grown and I saw Carol at an Encore event, she greeted me like a long lost friend. I will miss our occasional dinners together, her kindness and generosity. My deepest condolences to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all who loved her.
