I’ll always remember our family reunions in South Haven Michigan. We always prepared and looked forward to going every year. Sundays at church was a must and that’s how I know and remember my cousin. My cousin Charlotte was truly the center of attraction as she directed the choir. Rest In Sweet Heavenly Peace Cousin .

Charlotte I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet you. You were a proud women and had no problem in letting everyone know you were not to be played with. You had a great heart, kind spirit and uplifting soul. Most importantly you believed in the Lord and prayer was your guide. I will miss you Charlotte or as you had me call you "MS. Charlot."

Charlotte was the person that all the cousins and neighborhood friends LOVED!!! Charlotte was the MOST dynamic Choir Director I have ever seen!!! She was totally woven into the fabric of directing The Pentecostal Temple Church Choir!!! She didn't just direct, she physically moved with perfection to assure the voices were pulled Out!!! Whenever Charlotte came to town she was like the "STAR" that came home to visit!!!! She was a Choir director right after her Professional mother!!!! She will be missed!! God bless her labor of love!!!!

This is so sad to see. I have always loved Charlotte. She was my classmate from the third grade, Miss Austin’s class. Charlotte and I ran into each other at Michigan State University. It was by accident but she explained/shared some of her challenges with me and we talked. Since that day, I think I have reached out to family a couple of times always checking on her. Charlotte, may you rest in power and peace and I hope you have a great homecoming. You will be missed by me!

We are sending our condolences to the Cunningham family and we pray that Missy' Charlotte's memories will provide comfort and solace during your time of bereavement. Charlotte was a true friend to the Wilkins' family and we loved her dearly. The burdens that seem too heavy to bear are lifted away on the wings of a prayer. Remember, earth has no sorrow, Heaven can not heal. We will miss you profoundly. Until we meet again, take your REST!!!

The first of the Cable Street 6 to make the heavenly transition. You fought a good fight, finished the course, and keep the faith. A Ricky Dillard of our time. A choir director extraordinaire in the 70’s. I’ll miss you my sweet cousin but we will meet again.
