Let me correct my typo's on my last tribute.
My mom was so proud of all of her grandchildren! Growing up-her favorite grandson was James! (of course, he was the only grandson-but he held the position!)
James Henderson & Megan Homanick & Leo (My favorite grandson); Laura & Alisa Whiteford; Dorian Neuendorf & Evan Chrisman; Quinn Neuendorf & Justin; Jessica & George King & family, Jill & Eddy Smith, Ashley Dase and preceded in death by Heather Dase.

Grandma Donna - I got my sass from you and remember the time I was young and ill and you made me a hot toddy. I think of you each time I have one. We also had a great bond as birthday buddies. I was told every year how stubborn I was to be born two days after your birthdate but you still loved me. You loved my wife. You loved our entire family and we loved you. I will cherish the stockings you made as well as your travel spoon collection (now mounted in my living room). Memories of you I will keep and in dreams again we shall meet.

Donna was my cousin and god mother. I loved her sassy, sarcastic side as much as her loving, caring side. We kept up some on Facebook though I'm not on social media much. I'm sorry shell no longer be in the world. Blessings to Cindy Mary Bob and Bill. Hugs.

Your mom was a very special lady to us...what GREAT memories we have of her and Don from the North Bayou...and the many times around Christmas when we would get together at Donna's home to celebrate, go out for pizza, etc. Thinking of her brings a smile and fills our hearts with joy. Thinking of you during this time of sadness. May memories of her be a blessing and bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Donna, was such a nice friend. Even after she and Don quit coming to the North Bayou she always showed my wife Trudy, my daughter Jackie and I warm hospitality when we would stop to see her on our way while on a trip to the west. She graciously allowed Jackie to leave her car parked in front of her place so that we did not have to drive two cars all the way to Minneapolis. We will always have fond memories of both Donna and Don.

Mom visited me wherever I was, and we shared many adventures. We hiked in the Saguaro Desert in AZ, we visited Monticello in VA, and we rode a tugboat specially for her in the Hampton Roads harbor, VA. We took her salmon fishing on Lake Michigan for her 80th birthday. I will always have her in my heart.

Mom- so many memories, so much love! Do you remember when I would send or bring you a rose from Crystal Florist? The color depended on my mood. You could cook anything and it tasted delicious. You had a very green thumb, you were crafty. The family knitted stockings are treasured. I love you thiiiissss much!
