Guadalupe Lopez Garcia, 64 of Pullman, passed away suddenly on January 21, 2022. Born on August 28, 1957 in Douglas, Michigan to Amado Benavidez Lopez and Simona Callejas Lopez. United in marriage to Hipolito Garcia on November 12, 1977.
Guadalupe is survived by her husband of 44 years, Hipolito Garcia, children; Alejandro (Barbara) Garcia, Enedina Lopez Garcia, Enrique (Elizabet) Garcia, grandchildren; Alejandro Jr. (Tamara) Garcia III, Isabel Guadalupe Garcia, Ezequiel Garcia, Rafael Miguel Garcia, Antonio David Garcia, Eliseo Garcia, Marcos Hipolito Garcia, Magdalena Garcia, Alyssa Hernandez Garcia, Elizabeth Hernandez Garcia, Jason Ashbrook Jr, DJ Kirby and great granddaughter Anistyn Elizabeth Garcia. She is also survived by her sisters; Felin Aldana, Rosalinda Ontiveros, Ermelinda Garces.
Preceded in death by her parents Amado and Simona Lopez and brothers Julio Lopez, Enrique Lopez, Amado C. Lopez Jr. and Armando Lopez.
Guadalupe worked at the Pullman Elementary School as a para pro for 23 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Guadalupe was an active member of Pan de Vida Church in Fennville. She loved cooking for her family and teaching her grandchildren how to cook, never letting anyone go hungry. She was always singing. Her grandchildren were her world and they thought that her smile was the greatest gift that the Lord gave to the family.
Visitation for Guadalupe will be at the Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 S. Bailey Avenue, South Haven, Michigan, Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 p.m., also at Filbrandt Chapel.
