I remember growing up with Henry as a young child. Henry was my neighbor back in the day. Henry and I played football, basketball, & softball. In the summers we would play softball for Bravo church. We would ride the church bus to go to the softball games to compete against other church teams. We also rode our bikes to school and from Fennville schools. That was a 6 mile hike one way! We would get hungry from riding bikes in the summer so we would stop and eat fruit off the trees from the nearby orchards . As we grew up we started driving so we would go to the Starlight drive-in Saugatuck (at least one of us would sneak in) to check out the movies. As we got older he would go on the road with my brothers and I. He would eventually become our sound man for the band. He would repaired our audio equipment from time to time to keep up with our gigs.
Our families lived a 1/4 mile from each other same side of the street on 113th Ave. in Pullman, MI. There was a creek that separated the Martinez property from the Ford property. There was a pond in the back that we would all always go swimming at on those hot summer days. I could go on sharing many more precious memories including playing basketball at the Bravo church.

Henry will be joining my brother Benny for a game of basketball in HEAVEN. You will be missed! Your life time friend & brother. Hector Martinez
