I am blessed to have known and worked with Jimmy D! He exemplified all that is good in mankind. A gentle heart, a committed husband, a dedicated father, and a good friend, coach and mentor. He was a great engineer with an excellent work ethic, and a keen sense of right and wrong. Jimmy D always lead by example in a quiet but effective way. Something that is difficult to do and gathers little attention or reward. His behaviors and actions demonstrate a servant's life example worth emulation. May God bless him and his family.

A servant’s heart. I benefited from working with Jim as a new engineer working on sound and vibe projects. He was dedicated to learning and helping others be successful. Reflecting on the last 20+ years knowing Jim, I see he was a light for Christ and showed kindness and care, serving others, and being a good friend to those around him, including colleagues. I still wonder how the heck he could remember dates and numbers off the top of his head!!! I remember one work chat when he said happy birthday when I thought no one else knew and then told me all the other people having birthdays around the same time! ****Rest in God’s peace and may your family be comforted.

Kellie and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Jim. I got to know Jim while working at Whirlpool. He was such a gentleman - always smiling and encouraging. I have never seen him express anger at anyone at all. He was such a nice chap. After I left Whirlpool, we occasionally met here and there. I remember meeting him at the field in Buchanan several times as I refereed soccer matches. He would talk so proudly of the family and the wonderful accomplishments. I can describe Jim as a Christian gentleman who is a friend to all.
I will miss him and pray that God's presence will give you peace and hope. May God's gift of wonderful memories of a wonderful man sustain you all and give you strength. May His love enfold you and the family. May God's Gift of His Son give you hope and know that you will all meet him again one day.
