My condolences to Mike's family. I met Mike at the Berrien County Road Department years ago when he served as Commissioner. Mike was always interested in accomplishing the correct things for the benefit of the traveling public. I enjoyed my many times with Mike and our ongoing messages after he went to Richland.

In my position as a Radiology Manager it was my privilege to know and work with Mike for 35 years on construction/renovation projects and capital equipment purchases for my department. Mike was guided by focusing on what was best for patient care while always being fiscally responsible. He was innovative with a “can do” approach to solving problems.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Wayne and I enjoyed living at Eagle Pointe mostly because of our neighbors, with Mike being a prime example. He would check on neighbors who were experiencing difficulties. He led our Board for many years. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune of knowing him.
