So sorry to learn of Rich's passing. I, too pitched softball with Planngger's as a pick-up' pitcher for a year or so, after Rich retired from pitching, but played many years against him for several Niles teams. He was a great pitcher and we rarely beat them. He was also a very nice guy, a true Gentleman, and sportsman. Everyone liked Rich and he was a huge personality at the Ball Parks. RIP my Friend. Our condolences to all of his Family and friends...

My condolences to the Robards family on Rich's passing. I watched him pitch many. many softball games with Plangger's and bowled with him for several years. He was a good man.

Sandy, I’m so very sorry to hear about Rich’s passing. Please know that my thoughts are prayers go out to you and your entire family. Rich is now resting in the arms of Jesus and in a much better place than we are. I’m sure he’s watching over you from above and smiling. God just got another angel. He’s now dwelling in the house of the Lord and someday, we all will be too. What a joyous reunion that will be!! I will not be able to attend, however, I’m sending my love and prayers to all of you. I’d love to see you when I get back in the spring 🙏🙏

Also my nephew JJ Jetzke also had memories with you. His whole family is gone now. Thank you for being such good role models for Tim and JJ. May God be with you and Bless you.
