I’ve known Tom (and Betsy) most of my life. They watched my sister and I grow up across the street. When I had children, they grew to know them as well. Andrew enjoyed talking and getting to know Tom as they both shared military backgrounds. Tom and Betsy were both there to support our family last year when my grandma passed away. We were all so sad to hear the news of Tom’s passing and regret not being able to make it back for the funeral to support their family in the same way. The children cherish the bandannas and Harley bikes from Tom. You guys are in our thoughts and prayers.

Betsy and family: Please accept my condolences on the passing of a great guy. I know you have numerous memories with Kenny; and on occasion, we were able to connect with you and Tom through him. Cherish your memories, and know you're in my prayers. Blessings to you all. Roxanne

I have known the Albrecht’s my whole life. Tom and Betsy and their kids have always had a special place in my heart. They are family to me. What I will remember most about Tom is the big smile on his face every time I would come to town to visit. And he gave the best hugs too! My heart goes out to the Albrecht family. Praying for peace and comfort for all of you. Sending big hugs. I love you guys so much🥰❤️

In high school Tom was a genuine guy who always would lend a hand. Although we weren't close in the last several decades I will always cherish our earlier days. RIP

Tom & Betsy became close friends through my combat pistol competition for 20 years, and our coincidental mutual friends that I worked with at the B.H Post Office. Tom survived an active duty tour with the U.S.Army in Viet Nam, as well serving with the Fire Dept in St. Joe. We rode motorcycles with the wives as passengers and had so many really nice times with them. We met often at our favorite restaurant (Joe's) for meals, and sometimes after pistol matches. I could go on, but you get the idea; Tom and Betsy were important in our lives, and our hearts go out to Betsy and family during this difficult time. Tom was respected by all who knew him, and we ALL loved him. His was a life well lived and he was the real deal. He is without pain now, and I believe he is resting for all eternity in the loving arms of Jesus. We will always miss you Tom!

Tom was a wonderful instructor when I started on Tri-Unit Fire Department back in 1990. I appreciated his support and professionalism. Praying for Peace and Comfort for Darcy and the rest of the family.
