In loving memory of my Uncle Lowell. I grew up with you. You and Aunt Elaine were always there. Our families were always together. It was a wonderful time and a wonderful bonding. You made a difference in the world. You were a good provider to your family and a wonderful and faithful companion to your beloved Elaine. Rest in peace, dear Uncle. The toils of this life are over for you have gone on to your reward. You were loved and will be greatly missed.

In loving memory of a special Dad. Having lost mine at age 15, Lowell was more than a Father-in-law. He was patient and kind. Having raised 4 great sons of whom I was blessed to marry one. I will miss you, but so happy you are once again with your beloved Elaine and in the presence of our Lord.

To the entire Hicks family please accept my most sincere condolences. Lowell, or L.V. like many of us called him, was one of the smartest and most sincere people I have ever met. His never ending common sense and sense of humor was appreciated by all who knew him. I knew Lowell from my days at the St. Joseph Division of Whirlpool. He was a teacher of many lessons never forgotten. The world is less without him in it.

I could not have asked for a more kind grandfather. A true man of faith. Devoted husband and family man. You have taught your children these things and more, and in turn has taught us grandchildren. I will forever be thankful to you for that. Love you and miss you! But will see you one day again. ¦?¦?¦?

Your humor exceeded any that I personally had ever known. In fact Evan says so many things, that when he says them, I hear you!
You certainly loved your candy, always next to you. There was never a visit when we did not go to Bob Evans, Big Boy, Culver’s, or Cracker Barrel and you wouldn’t let us pay! On one of our last visits we took you to Roxys and couldn’t even eat the whole burger.
You loved people watching! I remember going to a craft store in Mishawaka and you sat outside watching people!
To those that took care of you in your last years, thank you so much! We appreciate you. Angels

In honor of Lowell, DIANA L HUNDRIESER lit a candle.
May God bless and keep you. To you I will always remember the times shared watching some game shows and the funny little things you would say always put a smile on my face.

Dear Hicks family,
Lowell was a valued friend and colleague at the St. Joseph Division many years ago. He was respected and admired by everyone who he worked with. His work ethic, honesty, loyalty, lack of ego and understated sense of humor were distinctive. You can be proud of your Dad and Grandfather. He was a good man. May he rest in peace.
