Michael's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Michael here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
Mike and I were roommates in the Army when we belonged to A Battery, 2nd Battalion, 320th Field Artillery, 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, KY from 1976 to 1979. We both owned VW bugs (you a 1972 yellow bug and me a 1971 blue bug) and we both had last names near the end of the alphabet. Your favorite song was "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton (a tribute to your girlfriend Robin) and every time I heard that song, I smiled and thought of you Mike.
Mike, I cannot believe you are gone when you were so fun, funny and full of life. I feel so guilty for not reaching out to you sooner: your passing is a total shock and I am so sorry to find out about it today after googling your name in order to find you.
My condolences to the Yore family. Mike will be greatly missed and my heart aches typing this.
I love and miss you Mike!

Goodbye old friend you will be missed greatly. We had lots of great times together in the past. They are very good memories. Many of nights partying around the pool with the gang. You and the old VW had lots of fun in it in the winter. My heart go out to his family and friends.

Wyn, and family,
I know Mike will leave a spot in the hearts of so many people. His sisters and brothers, such a wonderful close relationship with each of them. His own children, and so very many people that came to know him, thru the Festivals, lodges, and the care he gave to others. What a kind and loving child he was when I sat for his parents, but what an amazing love he shared for all his family and friends. He will be miss by all of us. My prayers for him, and the family for this tremendous lost that all who knew him are feeling. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Oh my dear brother Michael I miss you so much already. I have so many favorite memories of us growing up and you tickling the Pee out of me I'm charging me only $.25 an hour for a back rub. I am very grateful for the countless number of talks that we've had in the recent year, but my most favorite memory is when we sat in the garage and shared a beer together listening to our favorite songs from the 60s and 70s including Van Morrison's Moon dance. I listened to it today in your honor. After receiving the digital text from you at 2:24 AM on Saturday morning after you died, I knew you made it to heaven for it was only possible through the Holy Spirit for you to communicate to me I knew then that you would be keeping your promise to protect this entire family. Plus your phone doesn't even send digital text messages! Brother I will miss you tremendously and I love you so very much !

Oh my dear brother Mike, I am so grateful for the countless number of times in the past year or so that you and I were just able to sit and talk about anything and everything. My favorite recent memory is when you and i sat and drank a beer together listening to all our favorite songs from the late 60s and 70s especially Van Morrison, MoonDance! I listened to it today in your honor!! There are so many memories of growing up that I can't possibly list them all. But what I am most grateful for is that you promised me when you get to heaven you would protect me and our entire family. Michael after receiving your digital text message at 2:24 AM Saturday morning after you died, I knew in my heart that you made it to heaven and that you will be keeping your promise. I know it was the Holy Spirit allowing you to communicate to me because your phone doesn't even do digital text messages. I love you so much I will miss you tremendously Godspeed my brother .

Oh Michael, now who’s going to give me expert advice? Who’s going to show me those little cooking secrets that makes plain food taste gormet? Who’s going to share with me the history of quirky quotes and inanimate objects? Who’s going to give me that hug I so desperately need from time to time? Oh sweet brother of mine, I will miss you terribly! BTW, I got your message. I love you too!
