My deepest sympathy to the Stewart family. Your dad was my good friend and helped me tremendously when building my first home in Covert. My prayers are with the family.

Leon will always hold a special place in my heart. I was blessed to be one of his grandsons' teacher. Leon would quietly come to visit to see how Jonathan was doing (I knew he wanted to continue to have Jonathan practice the skills he learned in the classroom at home --- but he was so classy, he would just quietly watch). Jonathan would smile and shine from every cell of his being when his 'Granpa' visited. Leon was so wise & kind , that he would make sure if Jonathan was to receive something -- then the rest of the students would receive whatever Jonathan received. I thank God that Leon was in Jonathan's life --and my students' life, and mine. He definitely enriched the lives of those who were lucky enough to have met him. God bless him and his family at this difficult transition time -- you're all in my prayers

To the whole Stewart Family. I have grew up knowing, Mr. Stewart, Mrs. Stewart-Crumbley, Maurice, Brenda and Martina, we all went to school together, we are just like brothers and sisters, we used to play together on 76th Street all the time. But now Mr. Stewart is not feeling no pain, he is at peace and is resting in tranquility. Love Always & Forever Joseph Singer.
