Mitzi, Margaret, Mike Jr, and Matt Our deepest prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Mike was a good guy and a man of faith - I am glad to have known him. My favorite memory is a drive we took to Detroit in his semi. He was delivering some large industrial steel shelving. He really enjoyed drive truck and was good at it. We shared lots of stories of driving all over. It was a real joy to ride along with him. May God's grace and strength be with you. May Christ's peace give you peace always. For all of us at First Congregational - blessings. Jeffrey Dick

Mitzi and family: It is with deep regret that lyn and I have heard of the death of Mike. Mike came on the South Haven Fire Department in 1981 and was a great asset to this department for the 10 years he was a member. As Chief it was always a pleasure working with Mike. When we received our new equipment and asked for the members to help build cabinets and holders for the equipment, Mike was always first in line to help. Every event we ever had he was always willing to help. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and the family during this loss. Mike will never be forgotten by us. Just the other night I was looking at pictures of my time in South Haven and Mike was in many of them. He is in God's hands now and we will always remember his goodness. Dion and Lyn LeMieux

Mitzi, Margaret, Michael, Matt, Cherie and Jason ~ I am so very, very sorry. I can hardly think of a childhood memory that doesn't somehow include Mike. Mike was a good man with a big heart. His family was his life and he was so proud of you kids. It just doesn't seem possible that I won't see him cruise the beach this summer. I am so sad. You are all in my thoughts. Sending hugs ~ Karyn

Mitzi, Cherie and Jason: I am so sorry to read that we lost Michael. I've known him since you all were kids in Middle and High school! I worked with you mom, Carolyn, at SHPD for many years, and your dad, Ray, at the sheriff's office in Paw Paw, and watched you guys grow up. Mike was a friend of mine and such a nice, gentle guy. Peace to you all in these times.

I am so sorry for the passing of a great man, Mike! I have so many fond memories of him from as far back as I can remember. He always spoke with such admiration of his family. He will be sadly missed by a community that has grown to love and appreciate all he did. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family that you somehow find peace and look to the happy times not reflect on the sad. Nickie

Hismom was a Dispatcher with Dept. and His dad was on the marine patrol based out of SH.This was before his entering the Towing Business. To the family and friends of Michael Todd: Mike came to work at the Benton Harbor Lowes two years ago. Mike became my best friend shortly after he arrived. He was always there for me. I could always count on Mike for answers to any questions I might have. We tried to cut short any negative talk whether it be about work or just life in general. We joked around about everything. I always looked forward to seeing Mike. The last time I saw Mike he was walking out to go home with a big smile on his face and laughing out loud. He will now have to watch over me from heaven. Mike will be missed by all. I am so sorry for your Lose. My prays go out to all of you. Ron Trinidad

Mike was one of the greatest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I worked with him at the Holland Lowes and we had so many great conversations not just about work, but life. He always spoke of his family fondly and was so proud of all of his children. Mike will be sorely missed but I am very grateful to have had an opportunity to have such a great friend. Mike you are the best and I will miss you.
