Phil was a life long friend of my family. I'LL always remember,my father and Phil laughing and smiling together. Phil was an inspiration as a businessman, friend and philanthropist. I am sure, wherever he is ,he arrived with a big smile and said to all "greetings and salutations".

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your Father. What fond memories I have of your Dad and Mom. Going to the Prep Bowl game in 1954 and a week in South Haven at your Grandma's home. Fishing off the South Haven pier and shooting rats in the barn across the road. Brainard was a great place to grow up and I recall your folks and your grandparents as pillars of Faith United. I'm glad Rich called and gave me the news.
