I was saddened to hear of Uncle Milo's passing. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you. Talking to Uncle Milo on the phone after my dad's death, Bill Collins, amazed me how much his voice sounded like my dad. Take care. Love and prayers, Cheryl (cousin)

I did not know Milo well and only in recent years. However, I found him to be a sincere and charming person. The world would be a much better place if it were populated with folks like Milo. The greatest praise for anyone certainly applies to Milo; HE WAS A GOOD MAN. May he rest in peace and I hope he says a prayer for us. It will be a potent one!

We remember Uncle Milo most from his brief visit to our home in Tempe. Milo, Doris, and Doris' friend Jeannie all spent the afternoon with us. We made up a buffet of fresh vegetables, crackers, meats and brownies; we munched all afternoon and had a great visit over coffee. Milo was completely full of humor and enthusiasm (and brownies too). He was charming, positive, and friendly. Of all people, Milo had a great zest for living. When it was time for them to go, Milo gave Margie a big smooch on the lips. Margie saw that Jeannie was big-eyed, because she knew that would be happening to her, too. We have always fondly remembered that visit. We will miss him.

To the family of Uncle Milo, your father/grandfather lived a long life, raised a family, built a home and I'm sure did many things during his life he enjoyed and wanted to do. Your lives are richer in having him as part of your life. God bless you. Ron and Carol (Collins) Wells (cousin). Douglass, Texas

When we lived in Michigan on Monroe Blvd, Milo lived one house away. He was always so nice, friendly, a great person to talk to. We are so sorry to hear of his passing.

In sympathy, I last visited with Milo while he was recovering in 1957 at his home in Michigan. . .at that time, I was serving as an engineman on the Huron Lightship (his old command) at Port Huron, MI. Now retired and
residing in Sun City, AZ.
