To my new mom Vickie and her wonderful family, Paul and I want you all to know how much we love you. Grandma will be missed. We will always remember what a trooper she was. The best memory of her was the last one seeing her and her loved family members gather at the wedding in July. We were so blessed that she could be apart of it. Now she is reunited with Grandpa. Together they will watch over all of you. Lots of Love Everyone is in our thoughts, prayers, hopes, and dreams Megan & Paul

To all of the Hodges and the Kaminski sisters, We will miss Aunt Dorothy. I have fond memories of how she used to make all the kids file into the seats on the school bus, girls on one side, boys on the other. Best of all was Christmastime when all four of the "aunts" wore matching sweatshirts or took turns opening snowmen figurines or singing Christmas trees. Please know that we love you, and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Warmly, Kelly, Brian, and Carson Dissette

Dear Family, I just wanted to take some time out to remind you all of how important you are to me. Death is such a difficult thing and it's incredibly hard to be away from you all during this time. I want to be there to give you hugs and to talk about grandma soooo bad. She would always do things for me whether it was making a halloween costume or helping me with a project. I remember when i was young how i bothered her all the time for coloring books and for her to play go fish with me. She always made the best pickle soup and was just the greatest grandma that i could ask for. I'm gonna miss her sooo much and i miss all of you. I love you and take care

To Debbie, Vicki, Lisa, Peggy, Cecil, John, their spouses and kids. I know it is a terrible thing to lose a loved one, it is hard and time and good memories will help to heal the pain. Shirley and I are glad that we were able to spend some time with Dorthy at her grandson's wedding. She was having a good time. She was a good mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She will truly be missed. One memory I have of Dorthy which most people probably don"t know. It happened at "the farm" before it was replaced by the existing home. I was between 4 and 5, sitting on the concrete steps outside the kitchen door and Dorthy patiently was teaching me how to tie my shoe. She was kneeling down, showing me how to tie the shoe. I would try to no success. Dorthy showed me several times and I tried several times. I did finally get it but I do not remember how long it took. Maybe a 1/2 hour, maybe longer. But the thing that stuck in my memory is she had the patience to show me. Mike As I came into the family many years ago, Dorthy and Cecil were always gracious to me. I remember the "pink squirrels" at Christmas time at the Hodges'. Cecil always made sure I got one. Over the years they always welcomed our family. Shirley God bless, Michael & Shirley Raczynski

To the Hodge family - I am so very sorry for the passing of your mom. I have so many memories of your family that there is not enough space her to express everything I am feeling. We go back to over 45 years WOW, I grew up w/you, my dad worked w/your dad, I came over to your house we attended bday parties together, Vicki you babysat me, Doug you taught me in school. Your mom was great and I always enjoyed being with her, the laugh, smile, the Polish that I never understood but always tried to. Know that she is smiling down on all of you and the great things you have accomplished in life. She did a fantastic job as a mom and has a legacy to follow. God bless and may he lift you up on Eagles Wings. My prayers are with all of you.

Oh the memories of Dorothy and her disciplined school bus rides, the surprise of her kindness at Christmas time with a piece of candy for each of us, good or bad. We will miss her dearly as a member of the Ridley Automotive family and friend to each and all for so many years. Our kindest blessings to each of the family, may you find peace amongst you in God's Will as well as the many fond memories she made with you. Sincerely, the entire Ridley Automotive Family.

Dear Helen, Eleanor, and Virginia, I have the South Haven Tribune mailed to my home here in Troy and read of Dorothy's passing. It brought back so many happy memories of our long ago pass; coming over to your house once a week to watch "I Love Lucy"; eating your mother's fresh homemade Elephant Ear;sledding during the winter; Holloween time: May Day; along with many other things. Dorothy and all of you were such great neighbors. Our sympathy to all of you and the rest of Dorothy's family. The Grimes Kids
