Doug and Lisa - I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She was a customer at Macdonald's for a long time and i always enjoyed waiting on her. What a sweet lady.

I worked with Shirley years ago at South Haven Rubber Co. In fact she was my boss when I first started. She was wonderful and will be missed. Keep her in your hearts - she will always be with you.

We are sorry to hear of your loss. Keep your good memories of Michigan Ave activities. Shirley was part of the family acitivites that took place. The recipe for Italian Beef sandwiches is still being used! The handwritten copy is in my cookbook. It was a pleasure to have known Shirley. Wags and Chris

About Shirley mom. I will never forget the smiles that she gave her family especially her sons when they teased her which they did a lot and she liked teasing them back. She had a special look for each of them and they all deserved her special mom looks. Most of all I'll never forget carrying her up her daughters lawn after the long move from MI to FL. She kept telling me I couldn't carry her while the whole time I was carrying her. She told me she loved me the last time I saw her and I told her I loved her so much and would miss her. She was a very special lady and I hope she knew how much I enjoyed her. She sure did keep everyone hopping. Most of all the memories I have of her popcorn night. One night while staying with her and Karyl I was craving popcorn so was she made the popcorn and told me to get a whole stick of butter...my mouth fell open I could feel my arteries plugging up with every drop of butter being poured over one large bowl of popcorn. She told me it had to be a whole stick and grinned at me while I laughed and told her yes mamma whatever you say...she told me I was a smart-a** and she laughed with me. I loved her laugh and only got to share a short time of my life with her. I will miss you dearly Shirley Wondergem mother of my husband and best friend Brian. Her daughter-in-law Angel
