So sorry to hear about Marshall. He and my Uncle Don were great friends and Marshall had alot of stories he emailed me about the two of them growing up and of others. His memory was good and I could always count on him to catch me up on those I lost track of from the olden days. I'm very sad he's gone but luckily I kept alot of information he emailed, all good.

Dear Aunt Eleanor, Karin, Marcia, Craig, and Carol: Bill and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to you and to all your family members. It was our honor and pleasure to have Uncle Marshall in our lives. He had a lot of wisdom and, in our Dad's absence, I treasured and valued his insights. We always looked forward to our visits with him and Aunt Eleanor when we came to South Haven. Please know that we have been keeping all of you in our thoughts and our prayers. If you had told me my mother (your sister) would have been alive 15 years after my father passed on I would not have believed it. I am convinced it was a great deal of your efforts that made that happen uncle. Shawn

I am very sad about Uncle Marshall's passing. He gave me life by saving my mother's life years ago when he pulled her out of a lake when she was drowning. I owe my life to him.

Marshall and I shared his love of golf, the simple things in life, and family. He taught me a lot about the game and thus much about life. I'm grateful he cared enough about me to share his wisdom and friendship. I'll never forget him. Thanks and rest well.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. May the comfort of God help you during this difficult time. There are so many qualities that Corey had, they are far too numerous to recount. His compassion, kindness, and gentle being will be sadly missed by us. May God give you strength to bear this loss, as only He can do, and grant His loving comfort to your family and to you. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble— Psalms 46:1 Essie & Sakita Taylor

Marshall was in his late eighties when he and I played his last round of golf. He also went with me to the driving range and I have fond memories of him teaching me the game he loved so much. We treasured his friendship and will miss his quick wit. Love, Carl & Janice McNett

Sending my love, thoughts and prayers to everyone today. Sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral. Although, I am glad that I got to visit Marshall on his 90th birthday, for that's the last time I was able to see him. Promise I will try to make it out to Michigan next summer to visit. Love, Marie
