Dan and Sally, Our deepest sympathy to you and your families. You know how much we loved Maggie and her penetrating questions to our kids. I know Liz, Annie and Cindy all have fond memories of both your Mom and Dad. We have a great picture of everyone on the deck of your parents' cottage--with the cocktail flag waving. Love to you both, Ralph and Kathy

Marge was a great friend to me and my family. She has been a part of my life ever since I can remember. I will miss lunches with her and my mom.

So sad to hear of Marg's passing. She and Jack were two of my best friends always. I was responsible for getting them to move to Danielson. My warmest regards to Sally and Danny.

Dear Dan and Sally, We were very sorry to learn of your mom's passing. We loved your mom always and have fond memories of when she and your Dad lived in Danielson. I had a wonderful time with her when Bettie Cosgrove and I visited her in Michigan several years ago. Rick and Patti join us in sending you our heartfelt sympathy.

My best friend from 5th grade on, Marge and I were sometimes co-conspirators, sometimes many miles apart but always that something that kept our friendship intact. She was such a special person in my life and always I will remember the fun times we had together. No one could surpass Marge in the playing of Happy Birthday to You on the piano. She had what I call "piano fingers." Sally and Dan, I am sad for you both. You were her life - as were your children. I grieve in the loss of my best forever best friend. Mitty

Dear Sally, I read, with sadness, that your mother passed away. She was a wonderful woman and my mom told me how she had to call your mother because she made the best dinner I had ever eaten and I wanted her to get the recipe, it was Anerican chop suey! I hope the memories help ease your loss, it will get easier after a time. I still remember our school days and how our dads brought us to the New York World's Fair. How long ago that all was. Best wishes to you and your family, Sincerely (your old school friend), Wilma

Dear Sally, Dan and families: I'm so sorry to hear of Aunt Marge's passing. I understand you were both with her. That was good. I just returned from visiting Sandy in California Monday night and first heard from the paper last night. Cindy and I visited Aunt Maxine and Uncle Dick this summer and they called your mom while we were there. I was so happy to get to talk with her then. She was a wonderful lady and you should be very proud. We will see you when you bring her to Monroe. Take care Love, Your cousin Robin

Hi Dan'l, I was so sorry to hear the news about your mother. But, I have to admit thinking about her brought a huge smile to my face and many fond and funny memories. It was nice to see the picutes on the web site, especially the one from the Cape. It is hard to believe our kids are the ages we were then! Please know that you and Sally are in my thoughts..... Love, Annie

Dear Daniel, Sally and members of the family, I had the privilege of giving a golf lesson to Marge about 10 years ago. We had a lot of fun. I may or may not have talked her into making a couple of changes in her swing! What I really remember is her kindness, her spunky personality, her intelligence and her love of people. I have always admired and respected her. She will be missed. It was a privilege to know her, and I will remember her fondly. Sincerely, Pat Fitton
