Condolences go out to the family of Glenn Cowles. Glenn was always ready to help out at Kiwanis events, and I rode several times with him to an Interclub or District meeting. He always had a joke or some words of wisdom to pass on. He will be missed in many ways as he touched the lives of so many people. John and Danah

Glenn and Jacquelyn I am very sorry for the loss of your father and husband. Keep the memories alive in your thoughts and hearts. He is never far away. My father passed almost a year ago at 63 and there isn't a day I don't think about him knowing that he is not far away. My deepest sympathy for you both and the family within.

Glenn has been recognized as a leader in the hotel industry because as an individual he did not hold it in his heart but freely gave God’s gift of hospitality. His words and his deeds will be remembered and missed because he has been a blessing to so many that knew him.

It was early in the seventies when I first met Glen. I never lost touch with Glem and over the years the friendship continued. May God Bless the Family and so many friends. I am sure Glen has already accepted a place in Gods Hotel community.

I first met Glenn amidst screaming laughter...the kind where tears are streaming down your face & you can't catch your breath. Glenn always remembered that (so long ago that Glenn, Jacqui & I all had room to spare in airplane seats) and tho I may have shared confidences with Jacqui, it was Glenn with whom I shared the laughter. His entire family has had much time to show their strength & courage & unity. And that's NO laughing matter. All my love, Glenn is with the angels now & may he share the same spirit of laughter with them.

Other men may achieve all that Glenn achieved in his short life, but few can remain the gentle man that Glenn was. I will always cherish chatting with Glenn, his great sense of humor, his warm smile and his classy behavior. Glenn was someone you could always count on. I know he is up there with the angels having a heck of a good laugh! Glenn will be dearly missed by many. God Bless his family and my thoughts are with each of you and my dear friend Jacqui. Affectionately, Jan Wert

John 5:28, 29 reads: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Until that time we will miss Glenn. Jacqui, I will treasure the memories of the many organizations on which Glenn and I served together such as the Greater South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to seeing you soon. In the meantime you and your family will be in my prayers. Ty Wallace

Long time friends for over 50 years -- many pleasant memories of coming of age in the late 1950s with Glenn. I will miss him dearly even though our contacts have been sporadic over the years -- we always kept track of each other.

It has been over a week since you have left and I miss you very much. Your friendship and love was important to us as a couple and now I face the emptiness of your friendship and love. I know you will always love me, but I miss our talks and knowing that "we were wrong and the rest of the world was right." I will never forget you and that you and I had a wonderful son that turned into a wonderful man, your namesake. May God hold you in a special place until I can join you someday. I will watch over your children and keep them close as you want me to do so. Say hello to Mary Alice and your parents and mine knowing someday we will all be together again. Love your wife, Jacqui

I'll always remember Glenn as a fun loving class-mate and high school friend. Memories of the night he got blamed for initiating our water melon batch raid when, in fact, he was a reluctant participant always brings a smile to my face.

A year has passed since you left. I know you are in a better place now and your pain is over. I feel you around me alot, and when the dog growls I know you have entered into my life. It is difficult to move on in life and I understand what a great relationship we had. I know you are watching over me now and for that I am comforted.
