My dear Sherman's, I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Sherman's death.....I have only the fondest and most fun memories of him as Ann and I became....and I am sure to both he and Mrs. Sheman's chagrin....fast and furious friends in high school.....And, our silly and ridiculous antics became fodder for stories about us. Instead of ever getting mad he just laughed and had that wonderful, marvelous twinkle in his eyes. I truly believe I never saw him without a smile on his face. I will always remember him and love him as I have a huge place in my heart for the Shermans.... Much love, Sue

Charlotte, Ann,Betty and Chuck, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I will aways remember his whistle to come home...and being pulled behind the tractors in the winter. He was like my second Dad. I would like to take this time to thank the whole Sherman Family for the memories in my child hood. My prayers are with you. Dale Wickham

Dear Anne, I am so sorry to hear of your father's death. I think growing up your family was a household name. Thank goodness God allows us to have the gift of memory. Wouldn't it be a shame if he didn't. Now through our memories we have the rest of our lives to think of them. Best regards to the rest of your family. I'm thinking of you. Terry

Dear Ann and Family: My sincerest sympathy for your loss. My father and yours grew up together and I have often heard your dad's name mentioned as being a part of various adventures from that time, as in....."One time Port Sherman and I...." All the best at this difficult time, Mary

My thoughts are with all of you at this time. I don't know if Stacey remembers, but I can remember swimming at your grandparents when we were kids. Your family was certainly an important part of South Haven's fame. I know how difficult it is to lose a grandparent, so my heart aches for you guys. Take care. Jessica

Dear Charotte and family, We were so shocked to hear of Port's death. I was in the hopital having a knee replacement, so we couldn't be there. I enjoy remembering Port and all the honorable things he stood for. He was such a great man and a wonderful cousin. Our prayers are with you. Love, Viv and Ed

Dear Charlotte & Family, I was saddened to learn of Port's passing from Ray Sreboth at Stevensville on Thursday. He was on his way to services. I am very sorry I could not attend, but know we will miss him. I will always be greatful for the opportunity given to my family to better the South Haven area with our business currently sitting on your cow pasture(I am told). It has been fertile! When things calm down stop in for a cup of coffee. Kindest Regards, Brian
