This is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1John 1:5-10 I really enjoyed my time spent with Herman... Together we praised the Lord with our stringed instruments... Someone asked the question… how does one measure a man? I say by the integrity… of his steps… And His steps… were ordered… by The Lord… He was quite a guy... A down to earth type of guy... Herman received the gift of music at a very young age… And he played his guitar in an unusually soothing rythmatic fashion… It may be surprising to know that he was home schooled by his very own Mother to play the guitar... What a blessing that was... He was viewed as a pioneer in the hip-hop musical culture… And He proved to his family that if you believe in God… And were confident in your own abilities… You could make it in this world… regardless of the odds… I admired the strength and quality of humanity he showed us… As well as the love for his family… and his genuine humility… I was saddened when I received the news But we all know this is not our home… For we are but strangers… and sojourners… as were all our fathers… Our days on the earth are as a shadow… and there is none abiding… This is my farewell address to my Brother-in-Law... But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. I pray that Almighty God continues to bless you Herman, all of your family, as well as your friends and enemies. Love, your brother, Marty!

Rev and Mrs. Perry, I'm sorry for your loss of your son Harman. I always enjoyed seeing him. The last time I saw him was in the parking lot of Village Market. We had a nice chat on what was going on with him. His heart was physically not strong enough for this world, so God called him home at age 52. We have to accept that and remember that the hard times are past. My prayers and thoughts will be with you. Camilla Frengell M.D.

Uncle Red this Chuck your brother Charles son, sorry I could not make it there today. I just found out about this last night. I am so sorry for your lost. My heart goes out to you and the rest of your fmaily. May Herman find peace now with our Lord Jesus Christ. Herman has always treated me with respect and love when I was around him. He was a fun person to be around, he always had something to be happy about. The last time I saw him he had a smile on his face and that's the way I will remember him forever. I would like to come visit you and my aunt when I get another vacation at work. I will keep you and my aunt in my prayers. Take care and God Bless
