Dear Bertorellis, I was so saddened to hear about Richard's death. While I have not seen him in several years...I will always have great memories of our friendship ....since we were babies...seeing as we were baptized on the same day! Richard was always a lot of fun and had a twinkle in his eye! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely, Sue Johnston

Dear Marilyn and family: Rich was just the greatest guy. He and Stub helped me several times with vehicles and snow blowers and such and they went out of their way for my little family! They brought my daughter's first car (about 12 years ago) in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve and hid it as her Christmas surprise. We'll never forget that! I know how much his passing is hurting your hearts, but just know Rich touched many lives in big AND small ways. He will not be forgotten. Your family is in the prayers and thoughts of the Ridley family during this difficult time.

I will always remember Rich as one of my relatives that I was always glad to be around. Rich never treated me like I was a kid even when I was a kid. He was always kind to me and my siblings. It seemed that he was genuinely interested in me and what was going on in my life at the time. I didn't see Rich often but I was glad I got to see him this summer. I will miss him.

High school was more fun because of Rich. Many miles logged around South Haven crusing together with friends. No one could feel down when Rich was around. He was always great with helping me out with my cars too. Thoughts and prayers are you all.
