Karyn, I was so sad to hear about Chris. Seems like just yesterday you were telling me stories about Chris, the struggles, the good times. I have always admired you for the no-nonsense way you handle everything life throws at you, and I want you to know that I am thinking of you. Chris was special. You are special.

Chris worked for me in 2001 at Whirlpool Corporation. He was a quick learner and in spite of some extreme medical problems that sometimes kept him out of the office for weeks or months at a time, when he would return, I was always happy to see the BIG smile on his face! His cheerful attitude and kindness was an inspiration to me. He will be missed.

My sincerest condolences on your loss. I worked with Chris for approximately three years at Whirlpool. Chris was a indidual who was a pleasure to know and being in his presence was an honor. Although he had his battles, he never once complained. For what this is worth, Chris was an inspiration to me. Kinda made me see all of my "PROBLEMS" for what they really were, minute. Chris will be missed. I had the priveledge of being able to introduce Chris to my wife a few months ago at Cracker Barrel in Stevensville. My wife in the brief conversation with Chris envied my time with him. You should be proud. I know Chris touched my life and my wife's, I can't imagine how many other lives he has touched. We have lost a good man. May God be with him and you during this time of sorrow. Sincerely, Kevin Fisk

Though I only met Chris once, I was very grateful for the loan of his exhibitor's tent for a display I organized one year at the South Haven Festival of Cars. He did attend the one day show and stopped by for a root beer float. My condolences to the family and his sister Karyn.

The word courage is usually associated with men and women in uniform who fight for our country. Chris displayed courage through out his life since his unfortutant accident that was an inspriration to me. I had the honor of being able to side-track a business trip twice in the 90's to see him race in Kalamazoo. God bless Chris and my dear friends Karyn, Lacey and Craig.

I"m very sorry about Chris, He was a good friend and a great man. We always enjoyed watching him race at Kalamazoo, even if he did'nt win, he was fun to watch. His sportsmanship and positive attitude made him the tallest man in the pits. All the kids really loved him too, he still is my daughters favorite driver.

Dear Karyn, I was so sad to read of Chris passing away (in the Sun paper). I remember LONG AGO (smile) when we used to be working and talking about our "little kids". Altho I didn't know Chris as a "grownup", I know YOU, and how you have helped him along the way. You are a good mom, good person, good friend. Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you. Ken and I stay busy with grandkids and family. Had my 2nd knee replacement. I'd love to hear from you sometime. Our sympathy to Craig and Lacey too. Love, Margie and Ken

Strength of spirit, an infectious smile, a zest for life and the will to live every moment to the fullest. Chris left a legacy for all of us to remember in the way that he lived and loved in his life. Though his time here was short he touched so many lives. I feel privileged to have been able to call him my friend.

Karyn & family. I am so sorry for your loss. Chris was such a smart, charming, and above all genuinely nice guy. Whether he was lending me a tool, or fixing my waverunner for me (which, not surprisingly, he was much better at riding than I was), he was always friendly and helpful. Your family has been better neighbors than anyone could imagine. It was an honor to have Chris as a friend and neighbor.
