Lisa , Anna and VanWy Family.. I just cant tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your husband .. Dad and Brother.. I got to only meet Carl a few times but he seemed like a wonderful man.. I am glad that I got the chance to sit and talk to you Lisa and Carl at the DQ a few weeks ago.. I wont be able to attend the funeral or visitation for I will be in Florida .. My sincerest condolences to your family. I served in Desert Storm as well and know that he served his country proud. May he rest in peace and forever be in your hearts. I am a proud member of the Patriot Guard but will be unable to stand in the flag line, as I am in another state until the end of the month. I salute him and thank him for his service. May he watch over us and guide us in the future.

dear lisa. we are so very sorry to hear about jr, he loved you so very much. i remember when you guys were just kids and you two loved each other back then ,you to were made for each other. he was a great son, husband,father, grandpa, uncle and a great friend to many, i know that you and the family are going to be very loss with out him and so will all he's friends. no matter what we say. it still hurt's bad lisa god bless you and the family. i wish i could just blink my eye's and make all this go away for you, but i cant. love aunt deb and uncle del.

I'm always going to remember the good times with one of the worlds best uncle. Carl you are missed and always will be. Even when god gave you boys, us 3 girls always where yours and Lisa's too. Growing up next to you learning to drive the Mustang, monster truck, mudding, jokes, laughing, how to eat ribs without a fork or getting me drunk for the first time, last when we were bad nose on the wall. This is not all but I could go on an on. Just know that we all love you! I know that you would not leave here without knowing that Lisa and your boys wouldn't be taken care of ,just know we are all here for them.

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to the family for the untimely loss of Carl. I knew him from his many visits to our plant in La Salle, (QLF). I thought he was a terrific man. As a fellow service man, I wanted to thank him for standing up in what he believed in for his country. He served it proudly. I will miss him as a friend. I also would like to add to a personal note to Neil. I am so sorry about your dad. He was a great man.

So sorry and sad to hear about this. Carl was a great man and always brightened up the room whenever he entered. He was proud of his accomplishments as a truck owner, and proud to display his truck to anyone. Having worked with Carl for a while, it was a pleasure to be around him and always a joy to spend time with him. He will be missed greatly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Aunt Lisa, Christopher & Neil, I am so sorry for this. We will always remember Uncle Carl, he was the greatest Uncle that anyone could ever ask for... I remember him teaching me to tie my shoes (with the bunny ears), and I also remember him teaching how to eat ribs, it was great. He will always be in our hearts. He taught me how to drive the mud truck out at his mom and dad's, and new that even though I was little I would make it through. He gave me a lot of encouragement and love through my life. He is greatly loved and missed.

Although I have not kept in touch with Carl over the years, I went to Central and then high school with him. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. It sounds like Carl was loved by many, which doesn't surprise me at all because I remember him as being one of the nicest guys ever. I hope it comforts you in some small way to know that Carl will be remembered by those who knew him so long ago. I will be praying for you all that you may find peace in the midst of your loss.

We are all heartbroken at the loss of Carl....he lite up the office anytime he stopped by...always a funny story or a smart remark or even a kind word sometimes...lol...They don't come much better than Carl..be it a business man...father..grandpa..or friend.....he has touched the lives of all of us...We will miss him !!!! So sorry and shocked to hear about Carl. We tried to get the funeral information prior to the funeral so we could attend. As bad luck would have it,we were in South Haven on Friday for the engine club and heard that Carls funeral was Tuesday. Your in our thoughts and prayers. Everything is still new,but in time perhaps it will help to know, God gives us love. Someone to love he only lends. If you ever need anything just get in touch.

I miss you brother! I miss our talks. I miss the pictures you'd share with me. You helped me through some tuff times....offered to move me home to Michigan once. You were my support; You were my strength...the one person that was always there for me. You were the one person I could talk to about anything. You were always a straight shooter...told me what you thought without feeding me BS. 'It is what it is', you would often say. Along with 'Carpe Diem'. So true.....you never know.
