Dear Ruth,
My thoughts and prayers are for you and your family while you deal with your loss.
My first introduction at working at Palisades was guided by Don. I truly enjoyed working with him and knowing him as a very kind and gentle person.

Don help me when I first started at Palisades. Don was a very nice, has a kind heart and giving person. I definitely have been blessed in my life to have people like Don be part of it. Don is definitely one of God's children. I know he is looking down on you, his family and rejoicing with his love ones in heaven that have past on before him. May God bless and comfort you and your family in this time of loss.
With My Deepest Sympathy.

It has been over 30 years since I worked at Palisades as a licensed operator, and as the years have gone by, the people I can still remember working with are getting fewer and fewer. However, working with Don was a pleasure that I can still fondly remember. I also remember the hours spent at Ma's Coffee Pot with Ruth who seemed to be able handle 50 tasks at once with a smile and grace.
My sincere condolences to his family and his many friends.

Thank you all for your kind messages about dad. Knowing so many people loved him and realizing the impact he had made on so many lives has given us comfort through these dark times without him. He was the best dad I could have ever asked for and an amazing grandfather to our children. Sometimes I dream of him and he is smiling and I know he is in a better place with the Lord. Words can never express what a wonderful, intelligent, providing, caring, gifted man our father was. And he was a faithful husband to my mother and he loved her without wavering for 57 years. RIP my dearest dad. I every day because of the void you left on this earth but know that you wouldn't return even if you could. Someday we will all meet in heaven and what a gathering that will be! Love you and miss you daddy! Your loving daughter,
Becky

I was a maintenance engineer and QC Supervisor at Palisades Nuclear Plant during the late 70s. I worked very closely with Don. We became friends and I always appreciated his spirit and character. We also had some good theological discussions and I am so confident that he is in the presence of the Lord today.
